Patternly Terms of Use

Last updated July 28, 2026

Using Patternly

Patternly is a learning and reflection notebook that helps you turn uncertainty into small experiments. You must be at least 18 years old, provide accurate account information, keep access to your account secure, and use the service only in accordance with these terms and applicable law.

Your notebook and generated suggestions

You keep ownership of the content you enter. You give Patternly permission to process that content only as needed to operate, secure, synchronize, and improve the service and to generate the features you request.

Patternly may use automated systems to suggest experiments or reflections. Review suggestions before acting on them. Patternly is not medical, mental-health, legal, or emergency advice and is not a substitute for a qualified professional.

Subscriptions, trials, and billing

Patternly may offer free and paid features. The App Store confirmation screen shows the current price, billing period, and any trial eligibility before you purchase. A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel through your Apple account at least 24 hours before the current period ends.

You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple subscription settings. Cancellation prevents the next renewal and does not ordinarily refund the current period. Use Restore Purchases in Patternly to recover eligible access. Apple handles billing and refund requests under its policies.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse Patternly, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, upload unlawful or harmful material, abuse generated features, or use the service in a way that violates another person’s rights.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Patternly reliable, but the service may change, be interrupted, or contain errors. Features may be added, changed, or removed. We may update these terms and will post the updated date here. Continuing to use Patternly after an update means you accept the revised terms where permitted by law.

Ending your account

You may stop using Patternly at any time. You can permanently delete your account from Profile → Privacy & data → Delete account. Deleting a Patternly account does not automatically cancel an App Store subscription, so cancel it separately in Apple subscription settings.

Responsibility and questions

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Patternly is provided without guarantees that it will always be available or meet every need. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded. Visit the Patternly support page with service or billing questions.

Patternly

Patternly is a reflection and experimentation tool, not medical or mental-health treatment.
