Information Patternly processes
We process the information you choose to provide, including your name, email address, birthday, country, language, notebook entries, experiments, check-ins, reflections, and notification preferences.
We also process account identifiers, app interaction and diagnostic information, push notification tokens, subscription status, and purchase history needed to operate, secure, and improve Patternly.
How information is used
We use this information to create and synchronize your notebook, personalize requested experiments and reflections, provide notifications, restore purchases, support your account, prevent abuse, and understand whether product features work reliably.
Patternly does not sell personal information and does not use your information for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.
Service providers
We share only the information needed for service providers to perform work for Patternly. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy commitments.
- Cloudflare hosts the Patternly API, database, and request infrastructure.
- Google Gemini processes content you provide for AI generation, including problem statements, onboarding answers and private notes, AI follow-up answers, experiment details, check-ins, and prior reflections. This processing provides generated experiments and reflections when you request them. Patternly does not use this content for third-party advertising.
- PostHog processes a pseudonymous user identifier and product interaction events for analytics. Session recording, advertising tracking, and precise location collection are disabled.
- RevenueCat processes a pseudonymous user identifier and purchase history to verify subscription access and restore purchases.
- Apple and Google process sign-in details when you select their sign-in service. Apple processes App Store payments; Patternly does not receive your full payment-card details.
Storage, retention, and security
Patternly keeps account and notebook information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations, and protect the service. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure.
Your choices
You can change notifications in the app or iOS Settings, restore purchases from the paywall, and update supported profile preferences in Patternly.
To permanently remove your Patternly account and its experiments, check-ins, and reflections, open Profile → Privacy & data → Delete account. Deletion cannot be undone. You can also visit the support page if you cannot access the app.
Children
Patternly is intended only for adults who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a person under 18 created an account, contact Patternly support so we can investigate and remove it.
